Palm oil extraction process flow chart:

1.Raw material rception: as for the first step of palm oil press production machine,collecting the FFB and convey by trucks, then pour the fluster into the discharge door after weighed by ground weigher .Start the control valve to open the gate of the discharge door, then the palm fruits will fall into the fruit basket car or conveyor.

2. Sterilization: FFB is sealed and sterilized in a sterilizer, and direct steam (pressure 300KPa) is injected and heated for 60 minutes. The purpose is to prevent enzymatic breakdown and further increase in FFA in the oil. At the same time, the temperature will soften the fruit, making it easier for threshing and subsequent palm oil press production, and also reducing damaged kernels.

3. Threshing: The purpose of threshing is to separate palm fruits from fresh fruit bunches. The drum thresher is a machine commonly used in palm oil pressing production to separate fruits. The separated oil palm fruits are sent to the pressing section. Empty fruit bunches are thrown into the yard as casings or burned on site as fertilizer.

4. Digesting&pressing: The purpose of the cooker is to separate the pulp and nuts and crush the palm pulp. At the same time, direct steam is used to adjust the moisture content and temperature in the crusher. After the above treatment of the palm oil extraction machine, the palm pulp becomes soft and the cells are broken. Then sent to continuous spiral palm oil extraction machine. After being pressed by a palm oil extraction machine, the oil palm fruit is divided into two parts: a mixture of oil, water and solid impurities, and the pressed cake (fiber and nuts).

5. Oil clarification: Crude palm oil is first diluted and washed with water. Through sedimentation and filtration, the fiber substances in the oil are removed, and then continuous sedimentation is carried out. The whole is divided into two parts: oil and sediment. The oil is centrifugally separated and vacuum dried before being pumped into a storage tank for storage; the oil sediment is filtered and the dirty oil is separated, the oil pollution process undergoes secondary sedimentation, and the dirty oil mixture process is clarified and separated.

6.Kernel recovery:first kernel was released by the ripple mill. The broken mixture enters into broken mixture separation system; separation system adopts two stage separation and water separation. After separation, shell is sent to the warehouse for temporary storage, as boiler room fuel when necessary; the moisture content of separation kernel falls to below 7% through the hot air to dry.
